in the formatting options dialog of editing a bibliography-format the following additions would be very nice in order to make the bibliography output once again more powerful:

if the "special characters"-menu will contain at least "non-breaking space" this would be excellent.

further spaces which would be very fine are:
- narrow space
- narrow non-breaking space
- em-space
- en-space

Do you know what the (US) keyboard shortcuts are for these things (I think non-breaking space is Option-space)?

Sorry I don't know. In Mellel I just use the insert-menu there is everything and more than I need.
