Re: Feature Request: Show autocomplete options when typing in file tags
Hello. I am having issue with this again. Right clicking the tag field only shows three possible tags to choose from, but I have many more than that. All the tags are checked in the Finder preferences to be shown in the Finder sidebar. Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks. macOS 12.2.1 Bookends 14.0.5

Any way to format the date for a column field in library?
I'd like to have this Added column only show Year-Month instead of full date and time. Is there a way to do that?

Re: Cannot email references through Outlook app
Hi. So I finally got around to trying this. With Outlook set as default mail readier in Mail.app, I tried all of the following commands (executed while the apps were quit): tccutil reset AppleEvents com.microsoft.Outlook tccutil reset AppleEvents com.sonnysoftware.bookends tccutil reset All com.sonn...

Cannot email references through Outlook app
I am having trouble emailing references from Bookends. I have Outlook set as my default email reader (in Mail.app preferences); however, attempting to email from Bookends will always open in Mail.app. This has been happening for as long as I can remember over several versions of Bookends – at least ...

2 Questions (1. Default list sort, 2. Go to all after ref added)
I have two questions 1. Is there a way to set a default sort in list view? I would like for the list to always be sorted by Date Added by default. 2. Every time I drag a PDF into the library, it will autocomplete and rename the PDF as desired but then BE always goes to a blank list showing 0 of 0 re...

Re: Feature Request: Show autocomplete options when typing in file tags
Wow. That seems to work, and you kind of blew my mind. I had no idea about the need to enable that in Finder preferences. The bonus for me is that doing this enables those tags to also show when browsing the iOS Files app. The inability to see some of my tags in iOS Files has been a long source of c...

Re: Feature Request: Show autocomplete options when typing in file tags
Just following up here. Adding a new tag in Bookends does cause that tag to subsequently show in the list. However, the many file tags that were initially created in Finder are still omitted. Is it possible to get all of those tags to show as well?

Re: Feature Request: Show autocomplete options when typing in file tags
I tried to. It doesn't scroll. Just a view with 25 tags that doesn't scroll.

Re: Feature Request: Show autocomplete options when typing in file tags
Ahh, I did not know about the right click trick. Thank you. That almost is what I want. The only problem is that this only shows a subset of my tags for some reason. I have several dozen different file tags, but only 25 tags are showing when I right click. Is this possibly a bug or some API limitati...

Feature Request: Show autocomplete options when typing in file tags
It would be great if there were autocomplete options that displayed when typing in file tags. This would prevent mistyping an existing tag name. I'm providing a screenshot of DevonThink for an example of how another app does this.

Any plans to allow adding file tags on iOS?
It would be nice to be able to add file tags to attachments on iOS. I’m referring to macOS and now iOS/iCloud file tags here. Even better if there was autocomplete from existing tags while typing the tag to make entry easier.
