I'm upgrading from Bookends 12.8.4.

After reading your post, I re-install Bookends 12.8.4, and I can open my library with it. Then I Rebuild and Repair the library with 12.8.4. However, Bookends 13 still couldn't open that repaired library, the same error message persists ...

After upgrading to Bookends 13, an error message pop-up whenever I open Bookends or my library, I attached the pop-up window here:

Sad to hear that. :cry: :cry: :cry: I can reproduce it as follows:
1. Create a notecard for that reference on Bookends for iOS, sync
2. Open Bookends for Mac, sync
3. At that time, the newly created notecard is blank on Bookends for Mac already*
3. Add another notecard for that ...

I created several notecards for a reference on Bookends for iOS yesterday, today when I opened Bookends for Mac, all these notecards became “empty.” Then I immediately checked it on my Bookends for iOS, all of them became empty too! Is there any way I could get my notecards back? Thank you!!!

When I use Bookends for iOS to read PDF on my iPad, if I lock my iPad without first close the PDF attachment, those recent highlights would be lost. Is it normal? Thank you!
