Okay, thanks for the clarification. I suppose I can just use the Command-Tab combo to get from Pages to Bookends as well, assuming Bookends was the "last used" application before Pages.

Command-Y should work with Pages. You have to tell Pages is either your default word processor (Bookends preferences) or change it in File -> Link To. Strange. I'd like to use Pages together with Bookends. I understand that Bookends can scan a Pages '08 file - that's fantastic! But is there a keyboard shortcut to get from Pages to Bookends? Command-Y (which is what works in Mellel) doesn't work. If there isn't one by default, how do I set one up? Thanks.
