Bibliography spacing

Is it possible to have Bookends create a Bibliography without a line space in between the references? I apologize ahead of time if there is a simple fix for this.

Grazi.

Re: Emailing multiple PDFs from Bookends

Jon,

Ozean was spot on - I was indeed looking in the incorrect Library folder. Attached is the plist (zipped) if you have time to look at it. Thank you for the websites to check out regarding this issue with plist. Greatly appreciate all of your, and Ozean!'s, help.

Re: Emailing multiple PDFs from Bookends

It's not there. Here's a screen shot of my LIBRARY - PREFERENCES - (oops - the file is more than 256kb, I'll send it to you by email)

Re: Emailing multiple PDFs from Bookends

No need to rub it in - I'm quite frustrated here. :D

Anyone else out there had this problem?

Thanks.

Emailing multiple PDFs from Bookends

Jon suggested throwing out a post to see if any other users are having this same problem.

Here's the deal:

I would like to email several references WITH the PDFs as well. For example, I select five references, right click on email, and Mac Mail opens but only the text references are listed and ...

How to sync Bookends with DropBox?

How do I choose "DropBox" as a "remote database" for Bookends to start syncing my work and home computers?

Thanks.

Hm, that's a Word error message, not from Bookends. Try replacing the template and add-in (the Bookends ones) with fresh ones from the Bookends Folder and see if that helps. If not, maybe reinstalling Word will?

Actually, I do have a VPN account for UW-Madison so I'll try it tonight.

I'll let you know.

Web of Science

Jon -

I can log-in to the WoS through my desktop here at the university, but my question is how to do the same when using my laptop at home? I log-in through the university's library and I can conduct searches after doing so, but I can't get Bookends to connect even after logging in.

Thanks.

You read my mind. That's exactly my plan to see how it goes. I have three proposals going in early Oct but a "pseudo-proposal" option like you have described can be the pilot study.

BTW, message sent to Apple requesting the changes you listed.

Back to the grants...

Great. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, it's a show stopper for me. NIH grant proposals are limited in page-length, thus wrapping text next to the images, above and below tables, etc. etc. is an absolute must.

Jon -

Regarding your comments, so what exactly (remember I'm a tech-idiot) should we ask Apple to do with Pages '08?

Second question, would this request of Apple be a major thing requiring an entirely new Pages release? a major patch?

Just how easy of a fix is this....to get Bookends to work with ...

I agree with JaymanKC in that BE and Pages '08 will somehow be better integrated. My grant applications always include Tables and Figures with text wrapped around, etc. etc. I have yet to try the JaymanKC method of Pages -> export to Word -> scan with BE -> import to Pages....

I'm keeping my ...
