Re: Unusual Bibliography
Hi Jon, Thanks for your quick reply. I suppose the comment is less important (well frequent) than the grouping. I tried that grouping option, but it seems to make bookends crash each time I use it. It crashed. Then I started it up and did without grouping - it worked fine. Then switched grouping bac...

Unusual Bibliography
Hello, I'm trying to sort out the formatting for a somewhat unusual citation/bibliography format (well at least I think so). It uses superscription numbering for citations. In the bibliography, it lists the numbers and puts the bibliographic stuff here. I can do this much fine but... There are two e...

Hi Jon - Thanks for your quick reply. I'm currently using Last, First... But I find that I tend to have lots of articles from the same people - given that they write on my topic. Generally I can separate them by looking at the date, but nice to see co-author to confirm. I would imagine despite the s...

Basic List Display Question
I feel like I need to apologise for this question as it's very simple, but can't seem to find the answer when I search.
In the standard bookend window, is there a way to just display the authors last names rather than last, first? Takes up too much space!
Thanks, Taman

Strange Citation Formatting
Hello,
I have a citation entered as:
Løwendahl et al., 2001, #402;Aharoni, 1993, #47089
But when it's formatted it seems to lose the second reference, only including the date as if the authors were the same, but they're not!
(Løwendahl et al., 2001; 1993)
Could anyone help?
Thanks, Taman

Mellel Bibliography Scan - Bug?
I have a reference entered as follows in Mellel: %Nonaka, 1994, #265@18 \, emphasis added\ When the bibliography gets scanned, it changes the reference to: %Nonaka, 1994, #265@18 \, emphasis added\\, emphasis added\ Then doesn't format it. Seems that each time I run the scan it adds the '\, emphasis...

Bookends Folder
I've just my version of bookends. Now, however, it seems to keep putting a folder 'Bookends' in my Documents root directory. If I delete it, it comes back. Is there a place I can more this to where it wont be recreated, or a way to get rid of this?
Best, Taman

Hi Jon thanks for your quick reply. Thinking about it, I suppose it's nice to have the flexibility to be able to specify exactly how I'd like my in-text citations to look. Only thing is that it would be nice if I didn't have to specify this just to use ibid. Anyway, no big deal, will just setup a st...

Am trying to figure out this ibid thing! Just to make sure I understand. I'm trying to use ibid for in-text citations. It seems that I can't switch ibid on without specifying a custom citation format? And when I use a custom citation format, the in-text citations seem to be formatted as per the bibl...
