epub in viewer?
Most certainly this will have been raised before, but I wondered if incorporating an epub (or more ebook formats) viewer into bookend would be possible. The pdf viewer is a fantastic convenience. As ebook formats are becoming increasingly used, an ebook viewer would be a brilliant addition.

Double click attachment area to open file
I'm sorry if I am perhaps replicating something I have missed (I rarely visit the forum), but am I correctly thinking it is not possible anymore to open a pdf attachment to an entry by double clicking in the viewing area of the attachment? This now has to be done through the button at the top of the...

separate reference window?
Everything looks great, but how do I get rid of the permanently attached reference pane and get a separate window to edit a reference?

attachements metadata
Apologies in advance if this has been discussed before or if it sounds very stupid. I was thinking it would be very helpful if bookends could change some of the metadata of the attached files so that these could be read by e-readers and other programmes that use them to sort out these files. For exa...

Any news on (better) Pages integration?
...or we simply need to keep sending messages to apple?

Re: 11.0.4
Yes it did help, thanks!
11.0.4
Unfortunately the problem with the search bar losing focus has returned in 11.0.4. The search engine is also beachballing very often after the upgrade (this is on a C2D 3.06 imac with 4GB ram). Anyone else having this issue - or any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong with settings etc?

Re: Bookends and Apple Pages '09
I just wrote to apple and asked them to consider releasing the API. I'm using pages more and more lately, and I'd really love to see BE work better with pages
11.0.2
"Fixed a problem where the live search textbox would lose the focus after a few keystrokes if "Use WebKit to display pdfs" was enabled". Halleluja! An instant response to a very irritating issue. Sometimes I wonder if you guys are getting enough praise. I'm coming to think of boo...

quick question, is it possible to remove the groups column on the left from the main window? I just need to see the list as it used to be in the previous interface. Thanks!

Re: Update install fails
I've changed all permissions to read/write, the problem is still here.
EDIT: the updater did install 10.4.1, I checked out the contents of BE10 folder and there it was. Why the error message then?
thanks
george
