Hi Jon
just upgraded to 12.6.3 but watch folders does not work. Even changed to a new folder to make sure. Bookends finds the location and is watching but does not import the pdfs.

Autocomplete Paper
Hi Jon
In using Autocomplete Paper dialog the Title box is always greyed out for me. Never noticed before as always used the Any Text box to fill information. Is this a bug? I was going to post a screenshot but with the Retina imac the file is over 1.2mb and cannot be uploaded.
Regards
Tim

Re: Make Bookends notcard from selection and page no
Thanks Jon. I thought that might be the case. I did try deleting the cover page but that doesn't seem to help.

Make Bookends notcard from selection and page no
Hi Jon love this feature. However, many subscriprion services place a cover page at the begining of the article which throws the page numbers out by one. Would it be possible in a future release to allow the counter to start from (page number -1)? Alternatively, would it be possible for the user to ...

Re: Further APA requirements
Always for APA - they don't like footnotes either. The citation style applies irrespective of the document element it is in. From the APA style blog: The only use for footnotes in APA Style is to provide additional content that supplements the text (e.g., to briefly acknowledge a tangential idea tha...

Further APA requirements
Hi Jon APA strikes again. This time the use of suffixes such as "Jr." or "Sr" etc. If you enter to get correct bibliography then the citation is wrong for APA rules, giving for example, Larson, Jr. (2009) rather than Larson (2009). If you change to get the correct citation then t...

Re: Question on Repeated Citations
Depending on your workflow and output requirements you could treat each page as a separate document in your word processor and then merge the results into a pdf for publication. A word processor with master document capabilities such as Word may also work as long as you do not rescan the master docu...

Re: Copy Formatted Not Working
I use Mellel 3.2.2 and Bookends 12.03. In Bookends preferences make sure default font for bibliography is set to what you want (I tested using Verdana 24pt to make sure I got a different font to Mellel). In Mellel preferences make sure bibliography manager is set to Bookends. I would also suggest us...

BE12 slow scanning in Mellel 3.2.1
I have a large and complex document >40,000 words with 23 graphs, 7 equations 300 references 530 citations that takes for ever to scan. Admittedly this is the first scan using 12 but so far taken over 20 minutes and still not finished. In 11 the document took about 5 mins to scan. Has anybody else n...
