Ah, great thanks. I missed the copy citations with modifiers.
But both command-Y and control-command-Y are both bringing up the Scan a Document dialogue, even from the floating palette.

Live Bibliography and "Scan a Document" dialogue
Every time I use the command-Y or floating palette to insert a footnote into Mellel, the Scan a document dialogue comes up. Is there a way to remove this extra step after the first time?

Is there a way to make the default highlight PDF annotation colors on iOS the same as the default on the desktop? They are currently different

Re: Why no Trash folder in Bookends?
I just marched over to the forum to specifically request this as well. Twice now I have clicked directly on a note card and hit delete only to see the entire citation be wiped from my database. It is unbelievably frustrating, and a trash folder would save many a headache

Re: Ordering notecards by page number
Thanks. I always use the built-in note-cards, and the dragging and dropping is getting tiresome, particularly in large PDFs. Serves me right for not being a linear reader
Some sort of auto-sort by page number would be a nice feature for the notestream

Is there a way to automatically order notecards by page numbers? Or have this as an automatic setting?

Folders and SmartGroups
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. My folders are syncing to my iPad, but they are empty but they should have SmartGroups inside them.

Quick Adding an ISBN
Love the new Quick Add feature! Any chance there might be a way for us to prioritize the LOC for ISBN quick adds? I categorize my library by call numbers, and Amazon doesn't have those.

Question on importing from DOI
What is the fastest way to import from DOI ? I feel like I am doing it wrong.
Currently, I create a new blank reference, go over to the additional fields and plug the DOI in. Then I right-click the blank row reference and choose "auto-fill from internet"
Is there a faster way to do this? Is there ...

ah, I didn't notice that contextual menu, thanks.
Have you thought about a preference option which would automatically perform that function when clicking on a notecard? That would be handy and save the step

Jon,
I would like to request a "mouse shortcut" for the "Find in PDF" option for notecards. Can I request something like command-click or control-click or option-click to do the "Find in PDF" immediately upon mouse-clicking the notecard? Using the notecards to navigate through an attached PDF would ...

autofill from scanner
I love the autofill from scanner on the iOS. I have a couple of questions though. For the ISBN, does it retrieve info from LOC? If so, it didn't bring in the call number or year, which it does in the desktop app.
Also, any thoughts on File>Import References>From scanner to do the same thing on the ...
