Exporting from Papers crashes Bookends 10.4.2

Hello, ever since I upgraded to version 10.4.3 of Bookends I can't export references from Papers (1.8.6) to Bookends anymore because Bookends crashes in the process. Any flavour on why this is happening and whether it's a known problem?

Ok, sorry. Just for those who have the same problem: Rebuilding the database failed. When I'm asked to save the rebuilt database, Bookends crashes...
