Deleting references in static groups

Post by gke »

Is it somehow possible to permanently delete a reference from the database straight from a static group? Default behaviour is for the delete command to just remove the reference from the group in such cases, but it would greatly help me sorting references if I were able to directly delete them from the database while browsing groups, i.e. without having to go to the All list view first.

No, that's not possible to do directly while in the static group.

But it's simple enough -- mark the references in the static group you want to delete. Then click this Hits group and delete -- they marked records will be removed from the database.

I see. There is one problem, though, with using the marked reference feature. When you are in a specific group, there is no way to unmark any other references that for some reason are still marked without leaving the group, and thus losing track of what you were doing. Would it be possible to have a "Unmark all references" command similar to the "Mark all references command"?

Hi,

It's already there: Hits -> Clear Hits List.
