mellel+bookends shorcuts

Post by loic »

Perhaps it is an error, but I don't see any shorcut to enter a citation from bookends into mellel for editing it immediately. For example, right now I must type command-y and after double click on the citatin in mellel to add the page (@12… ). I would like to be able to add the page in the same time as I insert the citation.
I feel I am not very clear…

Hi,

I understand you. This would have to be implemented in Mellel (by RedleX), not in Bookends -- Bookends doesn't have anything to do with how Mellel handles the information it is sent.

There is one trick you can use, although it's probably no less work than what you're doing now. In Bookends, create a notecard with the page you want to cite (@12). If you select the notecard and then press Command-Y (and Mellel is linked), you'll see the citation and the cited pages inserted in the document.
