Somewhere in the new features for Bookends 10 I read about JSTOR.
I usually copy + paste all the information from a JSTOR journal article into a new or duplicated Bookends reference. That's long-winded since I have to do it in several steps (article title, author usually goes in one, but the journal title is to copy and paste extra) and pasting it into the Bookends reference I have to do it via Edit / Paste Plain Text, otherwise I get it in an unwanted style. Then I have to fill in the rest: volume, year, pages. And I have to edit the author (rearrange first name and last name), sometimes event the article title.
Is there any swifter way? (I assume it because JSTOR is mentioned in the new Bookends features).
A search for "JSTOR" in the help for Bookends finds nothing.
Is there a JSTOR relation?
Is there a JSTOR relation?

Re: Is there a JSTOR relation?
Make sure that you have the latest Bookends User Guide -- JSTOR is mentioned many times.
There are several ways to search and retrieve data from JSTOR. I'd recommend starting with Online Search -> JSTOR. You will need ip authentication to verify your access priviliges to use this.

Re: Is there a JSTOR relation?
Yes I found JSTOR in the User's Guide. Thanks so far.
Am I mistaken or do I have to search in JSTOR via Bookends? My approach usually is different. I know which journal article I need, mostly from a reference in another journal article or a book. So I don't search for title or author or keywords or whatever. I go to the electronically journal library my library provides (with thousands of different journals), search there alphabetically for the journal, say "Philosophical Studies", then I'm guided to the Journal DB, say JSTOR or Wiley-InterScience or whatever. Then I login (if necessary). And I download the article.
The Bookends Guide tells me: "References you obtain from an Online Search can be imported into a Bookends database in two ways:
• drag and drop them onto a Bookends reference window or List View window".
I don't know how to do that.
The JSTOR Export Citations only provides this:
Export Citations
Select one option:
* Email citations
* BibTeX (This will open in a new browser window. Click Save As on the new browser's File menu, and save as text file.)
* RefWorks
* EndNote, ProCite, Reference Manager (download RIS file)
1 Citation(s) to export
1. * On Church's Notion of Ontological Commitment
* R. M. Martin
* Philosophical Studies: An International Journal for Philosophy in the Analytic Tradition, Vol. 11, No. 1/2 (Jan. - Feb., 1960), pp. 3-7
* Published by: Springer
* Stable URL: http://www.jstor.org/stable/4318342
No Bookends is mentioned.
How do I get the citation into Bookends? Or am I at the wrong path?

If you want to go through your browser, instead of Bookends Online Search, to get JSTOR references you can (although its not as easy). In the examples you listed, you would Export Citations to EndNote, ProCite, Reference Manager (download RIS file), and then import the resulting text file into Bookends, using the RIS filter.

Re: Is there a JSTOR relation?
Thanks. I think I keep to my old procedure with copy and paste.
When I do a download of a journal article I don't know if its in JSTOR or some other Journal depository. I simply access it via the journal name, whatever depository system the article is stored in. Only when I am at journal level I am told in which depository system that journal (and the year) is available.

Almost all publisher (journal) sites let you export "to EndNote". This is usually RIS (sometimes Refer) format, both of which Bookends can import.
