Save pdf to bookends...not working

Hi,
after upgrading to Snow Leopard I noticed that the "save pdf to bookends" script in the print menu doesn't work anymore: I get an "error while printing". Don't know if the problem actually came after upgrading and I also noticed that in the pdf services folder the script is just an alias and can't find the original file. Could it be the origin of the problem? Anyhow, I tried to find the script also downloading the app again but no way: where can I get the script?

Hi,

The file is an alias. I'm not at a Snow Leopard machine right now, but I'm guessing that's what broke it (it works fine in Leopard). I'll check later. If SL is the problem, I'll see if there's a workaround.

Well, the first news is that I confirmed it is not working on Snow Leopard. I'll have to do some investigation to find out why.

I think there have been some serious changes regarding printing in general (there was a huge discussion about the way Adobe Acrobat has to work differently now) – but I have no idea if this actually affects this issue

Hm, after playing with this a while I got the same error message in Leopard (not Snow Leopard). I removed the Save PDF to Bookends alias from the PDF Services folder and let Bookends recreate it (which it will do on relaunch). Then the print pdf to Bookends featured worked again. Please try that.
