Second (and forth) line indent in bibliography?

Post by dspedersen »

Hi,

I have just made my first "customized" format according to the guidelines of a journal and it looks fine. However, from the second line for each reference the lines are moved in from the margin - how do I obtain a hanging indent without use of reference numbers?

I can not find anything in the User Guide, solving this question.

Thanks :)

I am not sure I understood what you want to do. Do you want

(a) an indent in the first line only

(b) an indent in all the following lines

(c) no indent at all?

Just click the hanging indent box in the format. And make sure you're using Bookends 10.6.

There it was! This time I checked the users guide first, as I didn't stumble upon it when creating the format; maybe I should've looked twice instead!

Thanks!
