Missing Period in Publisher Field

Post by JAMiller6620 »

I need to enter "n.p." in the publisher field because a book I am referencing does not include the information. However, when I check the format, BE is showing ...(London: n.p, 1696). The key here is the period is being removed. I am fairly certain there is a setting for this but I cannot remember where to find it and have been unable to locate it.
Thanks.

Ok. It was an issue with my code. Now my code looks like (in part):

` (`l: u~,~ d;$ reprint, $u12`).`

Jon, just so I understand, why is the binding of the comma necessary to preserve the period?

Thanks.

Off the top of my head I don't know. ., is not cleaned up when Bookends formats a reference (because it can be intentionally, as in the example you cite). If you really want to follow this up, please contact tech support (support@sonnysoftware.com).
