I am trying to perform a search operation that will yield all bibliographic items not belonging to any group.
"Refs>Find" does not allow this; "smart groups" gets closer to providing a solution but, as far as I can see, still comes short: As you may see on the screenshot attached, the "OK" button of the dialog box remains greyed-out unless the "name" field is filled out.
Is there a work around?
Much appreciated.

Re: Finding items that do not belong in any group
That's how it's intended to work. You have to give a group a name before it can be used (you can have a horse with no name, but not a group with no name). So give it a name (e.g. Refs in no group).

Ehm… OK, now that was one stupid question. SORRY!
I somehow thought that "name" was a search string. The side-effects of academic sleep-deprivation.
