Copy and Revise Reference

Hello,

I'm wondering how I copy and revise a reference. What I'm thinking of here are multiple chapters by different authors from an edited volume. It would be helpful to complete one reference, then copy it so as to revise the chapter authors etc. without losing the editor and volume information.
