Text files attachment

When I drag a text file .txt trying to attach to a reference, instead the dialog
< Import references from : > appears.

Other file formats eg pdf, doc, drag and attach ok

Is there a way to drag attach .txt files to a ref?

Hi,

Yes, hold down the Command key when you drop and Bookends will offer to attach it (the converse is also possible -- hold down the Shift key when you drop and Bookends will offer to import the file regardless of what its type is, which is handy if you have a text file that's not otherwise identifiable as such).
