Monitor attachments folder

Hi All. Is it (or would it be) possible for BE to monitor it's specified attachments folder for new pdfs that are added by another app?
Point in case: I'd like BE to detect when Papers adds a PDF to that folder, and have BE auto-complete the corresponding ref (e.g. from PubMed or Google Scholar), without me having to "Send to Bookends" manually. The auto-completed reference could be tagged "for review" or some such. I also have several pdfs in that folder that aren't linked to a BE record, and that feature would also come in handy for cleaning that up.

Hi, no, that's not possible. I also think it would also be very complicated to implement in any kind of user-friendly way.
