Retaining manually modified citations

Post by adrmckinney »

I am at the precarious point of my paper where I have scanned my bibliography and made manuel correction to many footnote citations. But now I have more Bibliography entries to insert into the paper. Is there a way to tell BE not to unscan certain citations or at least retain their modified format upon the next scan?

No, you can't, but if the references are cited elsewhere (and so appear in the bib) and the bib is not numbered, you could copy those chunks to a temp file, scan your document again, and then replace them. Why did you edit them manually after the scan?
