Opening attachment with shortcut in notecard stream view

I may be missing something, but command-shift-O (the shortcut to open attachments) does not work when the focus is in the note stream. One has to tab to the list of references and then the shortcut works. The thing is that I'm never aware where I am and this always confuses me (for a couple of seconds of course). Not a big deal, but is it possible to activate the shortcut in when the focus is in the note streams?

I don't think I should do that because it wouldn't be consistent (the item in the list is inactive -- grayed out). I could add it to the notestream right-click menu, though, and assign that shortcut to it.
