Add attachment

Post by MelissaH »

Once I make a new reference in Bookends, is there a way to to add an attachment without opening the inspector window? I thought there used to be a button up near the top of the window, perhaps next to the Inspector button? If the reference already has an attachment, you can open the attachment using the "gear" menu at the bottom of the window. It seems like you should be able to add an attachment in a similar way.

Thanks,

Melissa

Funny you should ask. About 5 minutes ago I added a lot of new ways (Refs -> Attach, right-click in the reference list, use the Action popup menu, and a keyboard shortcut (Control-Command-A)). These will be in the next update. For now, you can use the Attachment Inspector or drag and drop in the Finder (which I prefer).
