Hello,
I am trying to present two citation together in a document. It looks like this:
One can see that there are only external brackets to the two citations.
Then I scan the Mellel document to create a bibliography, and get the following results:
The result shows that more brackets have been added. Something in my configuration is wrong.
I'll appreciate your help as to how to get rid of the supplementary brackets.

What I am looking for is a way that BE will understand that when two or three citations are together and separated by the : sign, the brackets would be presented only on the exterior sides of the group of citations.

Raymond: You’ll have to change this in the Format Manager too – just look at the same tab where you also set the parantheses.

I got the following citation before asking for assistance, as shown here: So I wanted to take-off the inside brackets.
After following your advise, I got the following situation: And I wish to get the following situation: I hope a solution exists.
