Search Problem

Post by Blot »

Hi All

Having a very unusual problem. The co-author of one of my references is 'Leopold Jessner'. When I enter Jessner in the search bar nothing comes up. I have to search 'leopold' or 'Leni' the name of the other author or any other term in the reference. It comes up when I use 'Find' in the Refs menu to search Jessner. I can't understand what's wrong.
I've already done the following :
i. Deleted the Jessner reference, updated term list, then recreated the Jessner reference. [nothing]
2. Created a new Jessner reference [nothing]
3. Created a Jessner reference in my other library [comes up, no problem]
4. Verified library [found problem, repaired, but still nothing]

What do I do here? This is weird, also a little unsettling. How many more 'Jessner's are there in my library? Any ideas?

thanks
Jon

You can try reindexing the library. If that doesn't help, please zip and send me the library so I can try the search here.

BTW, if it is the index, you can also do unindexed searches (do a find for "characters").
