Lower case 'ibid.' instead of 'Ibid.'

Post by mestrius »

I sometimes embed citations within a footnote where I need to use "ibid." (with the initial letter being in the lower case), instead of the default upper case "Ibid." which is great when the citations are at the beginning. Is there anything in the bag of tricks for the lower case version of ibid.?

You can have Bookends generate one or the other automatically (based on the setting in the format). But not both (Bookends also doesn't know where a citation is in relationship to text in the footnote). I think you'll have to post-process this.
