Hits list after scanning in Mellel

Hi,

I'm wondering about what seems to be a default behaviour of Bookends where, after it scans a document (or merely updates a Live Bibliography in Mellel) it clears the existing Hit List and marks all the references in the document. This can be a bit annoying if I've checked off a few references to refer to in a few minutes or something, and then I can't find them any more. Is there any way to turn this off?

No. This is a feature, not a bug. The hits list is evanescent. You should never rely on it's persistence/ After a scan (or live bibliography update) it holds the references that were cited. This is incredibly useful. If you want persistent storage, make the hits a group.
