Export attachments to bib desk

Post by olivier »

Hi,
I would like to export my attachments in bibdesk, so as to avoid reattaching manually for each reference. I have no problem in exporting my bibliography in the .bib format, nor in opening it in bibdesk, but bibdesk does not finds the attachments. My exported reference look like this in Tex:

@Article{Chappell1970,
author = {Chappell, VC},
title = {Stuff and things},
journal = {Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society},
volume = {},
number = {},
pages = {61-76},
year = {1970},
abstract = {},
translator = {},
note={},
location = {Chappell, V. C. (1970). Stuff and things. Proceedings from Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society.pdf},
`keywords = {`k`}}

I guess the problem could be the "location" line, but don't know what to do. Any ideas ?
Best,

Olivier

There's no BibTeX standard for exporting files (Location certainly isn't one). I have no idea what BibDesk looks for. If you find out, you can edit the format to output that. But Bookends will only output the name of the attachment, not the pathname (which I'm sure BibDesk would want). You'd have to post-process the BibTeX .bib file to place the pathname in from of the attachment name.
