Conditional groups bug in Bookends 12?

Hi Jon.

I have a customized bibliography format that contains the publication date as well as the original date of publication. It looks like this for a book:

a ({u11/}d). t. l: u.

and like this for a book chapter:

Code: Select all

a ({u11/}d). t. $In $e$ $($ed.^^eds.$), v, u14, p-. l: u.

In Bookends 12 that works only if there is actually an original date of publication. If there isn't, I get this:

which is clearly wrong.
