Term Lists – Journal: How to refresh?

Post by Cassady »

Hi all,

When I call up the Term Lists (Journal), I find 13 entries of (for example) "Federal Law Reports". Just above, or below it, I also find 1 entry "Federal Law Report". The latter is incorrect, and needs to be adjusted to match the others.

What I'm struggling with, is when I then search the library for "Federal Law Report", I get no hits? Rather, I find the others, but NOT the single entry still named incorrectly. So I'm unable to find and correct the stray entry?

Is it possibly a vestige of an earlier entry, since corrected, that was incorrectly entered? And if so – how would one "refresh" the Term List, to no longer "see/reflect" the stray reference entry?

Any suggestions?

Yes, term lists add terms on-the-fly, but they don't remove terms that way. You can update a number of ways. The one I prefer is to right-click on the Term List and choose Update Terms (note that this updates all Term Lists, not just the one showing).
