remove comma after question mark

Post by Rony.Kozman »

Hi,

Is there a way to have Bookends omit punctuation (i.e., comma) after a title when the title already includes a question mark?

Here is an example: Albert Pietersma, “LXX and DTS: A New Archimedean Point for Septuagint Studies?,BIOCS 39 (2006): 1–11.
As you can see the comma after the question mark in the title is unnecessary. Is there a way for Bookends to omit this comma?

Thanks,
Rony

Yes, it would be possible for Bookends to remove all occurrences of ?, (leaving the ?), but I'm not sure that's universally appropriate. That is, are there situations in which you'd want this? Also, I'm sure it's quite rare, and a search/replace should deal with it. What do others think?
