Journal Glossary Menu

I want to clean up glossaries that I don't use under Journal Glossary menu. I see those that I created, but there are several others I need to disable. They are nowhere to be found within a supposed Journal Glossaries folder. I checked in Show Bookends Folder in Finder, under Help, and I also checked where Bookends is installed. The ones I need to disable are: Chemistry, Concise Medicine, Ecology and Evolution, Humanities, Legal, Marine Biology and Ecology. Thanks

There is no user access for the built-in glossaries. If you want to delete them you have to remove them from the app bundle. They're in

Contents -> Resources -> Support Files -> Journal Glossaries

Ok thanks! I asked because the manual says the following: "Glossaries are kept in a special folder called Journal Glossaries, which must be in the same folder as Bookends itself" p378. So it was not clear to me that it was inside the package.
