After just updating to Bookends 13, I'm not getting text in the Main tab to display with an italic (or any other) style. Anyone else encountering this?
PS: Am using Sierra 10.12.6, not yet upgraded to High Sierra.

No problems here. Check your default font for reference display in Font Book.

Re: Bookends 13 styled text not working
Update: It's working this morning! Problem solved. I didn't change anything -- didn't open FontBook, for instance. It was working fine before the update, and is working now. I can't explain why for numerous references I entered last night, it wouldn't take italics, but now, all is good.
Re: Bookends 13 styled text not working
Hm, well I just updated yesterday I think (for Chicago 17), and now I'm having the same problem. No italics, no matter the citation format. I checked the default font in preferences; it's still Times New Roman. The settings for formats still show "t" italicized.

Try another font such as Garamond (to make sure it's not a damaged font). And make sure your output is set to Styled Text (Biblio -> Bibliography).
