Hello,
I am trying to create a reference list at the end of a paper, but as soon as I click on "Scan document" on Word's plug'in, the error message: "Bookends can't perform a scan because no windows are open!" pops up. I saw in another post, that this happens because VBA is not installed. I managed to get the Developer menu but the VB doesn't work, it says "it's not installed in this machine". I've pretty much search everywhere online and it seems there is no VBA for Mac. Is this true? How can I get Bookends 13.0.5 to work on Word 2011 in a Mac OS 10.13.3?
Thank you!
Margarida

Sure there is VBA for Mac. You need to reinstall it from the Office disk.
In the meantime, you can always save the document as RTF and scan that.
