Showing number of selected refs

Post by pgseye »

Maybe I'm missing something, but if you select multiple refs, how do you see how many you have selected. Bookends continues to show the total number of refs in the library whether I select one or several refs. (e.g. Showing 2521 of 2521 refs)
Thanks

Bookends shows you *both* the number of references in the list and total number in the group. So if you select All it shows 2521 or 2521 (I assume for you). If you were to do a live search and the list changed it would show you how many of the total are showing (e.g. 14 of 2521). If you select a group different from All the denominator (maximum number) would change.

Bookends doesn't display how many references are selected. If this is important to you I suggest you mark the references (check them) -- you can then click on the Hits group to see them, and Bookends will tell you how many how have.
