Verify links between library references and pdf attachments?

Post by pgseye »

I'm wondering if there's any way to identify orphan pdf's in the attachment folder? At the moment I seem to have 2203 references in my Bookends library, but 2204 pdf's in the associated attachment folder.

Thanks,

Paul

There is no automatic way to do this -- you could have the same PDF used by multiple libraries. If you really need to do this, you can do a Global Change operation to move all your attachments to a new folder -- any that were left behind weren't attached. You'll lose any subfolder organization if you do this (if you had any).

Hey there,

If you still need this, I've posted a script in the Applescript's sub-forum that should do what you want with just a few minor modifications (as explained).

Best,
