Crash when trying to modify Biblio format

I have a reproducible crash that occurs when trying to modify a bibliography format. I call up the bib format dialog box, which displays correctly. I then click on the format I want to edit, and either double-click it or select Edit, and then the program crashes every time. I am using ver 8.1.1.

This occurs even when a database is not open.

Jon, have you any idea why this is happening?

I should also mention that I've trashed the prefs and plist files with no change in behaviour...

Probably a damaged format file. If it's one we ship, I can send another. If it's one you made and is difficult to replicate, send it to me and I'll look at it.

FYI, I have seen this too. It only happens with my custom formats (even if I just select them for display). As I only had two custom formats (one of which I had decided never to submit to again...) I just trashed them and hoped it wouldn't bother me anymore.

For what it's worth, it seemed to be connected to the latest update (or one of the latest ones), they worked fine before.
