Cited Inspector

The Cited Inspector delivers cited references as doi: numbers ,, not so useful (see attached)
how can I change this to Author+Date etc ?

You can't. The quality of the data depends on the publisher (who voluntarily deposits it with Crossref). Bookends displays the best information it can from what is returned (if anything is returned at all -- only a subset of publishers and journals deposit this information). If there is no other useful information Bookends displays just the DOI.
