Feature Request: Relocate context click menu active area
Feature Request: Relocate context click menu active area
The context menu to create new folders, groups, and other options only appears when you context click ON an existing item. Can this be changed so that the context menu appears whenever you context click anywhere in the left-most organizer panel? I recognize that Delete and Rename might hopefully be grayed out as inactive when the click lands only in the panel and not directly on an object.

Re: Feature Request: Relocate context click menu active area
That's the way macOS apps behaves (see Mail, for an analogous example). I'll have to think about whether it makes sense to add another way to access a contextual menu in the groups pane. Note that, as usual, there is more than one way to manipulate groups, such as the Add popup menu in the toolbar and the popup Action menu at the bottom of the groups pane.

I am basing my request on how Curio and Devonthink handle this. Context clicking in the pane activates the menu.
