Notes field not being removed when emptied

I am not sure whether I posted a previous finding about this directly to support or here. I will follow up here for others to test and comment.

* Find a reference that has no notes.
* Open the sidebar panel (the one with three tabs -- Main, Notes, Attachments)
* Add a note with a short text (e.g. test)
* Switch to a different reference (to "log in" the note)
* Return to the previous reference
* Delete the text for the note within the Notes field
* Switch to a different reference
* Return to the original reference
--> the Notes tab now shows a * and the Notes field has the word Notes

The only way to clear notes completely from a reference is to open the Notes viewer (the middle icon in the bottom right list of three icons) and delete the (yellow-colored) note entirely.

My guess is that, when all text in the Notes field is deleted, the action does not register to also remove the note entirely.

ps -- You can also search for attachments that have Note fields with "Notes" to find the offending empty yet not removed notes.
