Keyboard shortcuts to copy selected PDF text?

Post by SarahG236 »

Hi all,

I’m wondering if there’s a way to enable keyboard shortcuts so I can copy text after I select it in a PDF? I’m in the middle of a literature review and I copy things like the research questions etc into my table. It adds a small delay for me needing to use the pop context menu and it would be faster and easier if I could just use cmd+C… is this possible?

Yes, just use Command-C. That will dismiss the popover and copy the selection.

Huh! I feel very dumb but for some reason that didn't work when I tried it and I just assumed it wasn't a feature. When I did it now it worked perfectly so I must have just done a bad job somehow with the keys! Sorry about that!
