import filter for Amazon

Post by danzac »

How can I change the import filter that amazon uses from the internet search window? I keep tweaking the filter, than I forget to move it when I do an update- or is their another solution I'm not thinking of?

You can make a new filter based on Amazon, give it the same name (Amazon), edit it, and when it's saved it will go into the Custom Import Filters folder. Now you won't lose it when you update to a new version.

I figured that much out :) So amazon internet search isn't defaulted to use the amazon import filter that isn't in the custom folder?

The default is always the filter/format in the Custom folders. We assume that if you have made a new filter (or modified an old one) that you'd rather use that one than the one we provide.

Ahhhhh, excellent. That makes too much sense, which is why I couldn't figure it out.
