[Q]How to change the font in the View formatted window

Post by apj »

Hello,
I am a Japanese and I 'm handling both English and Japanese references in the Bookends. I have no problem to Input and to brows using the list view.
Unfortunately, when I select Japanese reference which includes Japanese 2-byte characters, the characters are shown by the sequence of '?' in the view formatted window. I want to change the font of the view formatted window. How can I do it?

Hi,

You probably have ASCII (plain text) selected for formatted output. Change it to styled text:

Biblio -> Bibliography Formatter -> Styled Text (click Set Default)

BibTeX and UTF-8 is suitable

Post by apj »

Hello,

I use BibTeX format, and I select "BibTeX as BibTeX" in the Bibliography Formatter menu. In this case, accent characters such as 'é' automatically converted to \'{e}.

I tried to "BibTeX as Styled Text" and "BibTeX as UTF-8". Both modes are suitable for me. But automatical conversion between the styled text and the tex command does not work.

In my case, I have entered accent characters, super- and sub- script as a direct TeX command. No problem.

thank you.

I'm sorry, I don't understand exactly what the problem is.
