Hi Jon,
I have noticed in Endnote X (windows version, that I use on my Works PC), that there is now a working facility to search WOS directly. This may be an old feature of Endnote - I haven't noticed it before.
Can this be implimented in BE? I noticed that the filter has a couple of options that BE doesn't (a specific key for web queries for example).
I'm sure that there would be plenty of people who would want/use such a feature judging by the previous requests...
Thanks for your efforts.
Jason.
Web of Science Direct Searching
Hi,
WOS is owned by ISI, which makes EN (and RM and ProCite). To my knowedge, they haven't opened it up to anybody else, for competitive reasons I imagine (it's not a Z39-50-based server). Bookends has a filter for importing from WOS files (via your browser), but no direct search.
