reference types?

Post by Stoic »

I use Bookends primarily to keep track of books and articles. But I'd also like to use it to catalogue my audio CDs. When it comes to adding a new reference, however, the only reference type that corresponds to this is "audiovisual material," for which the field designations seem neither intuitive nor appropriate.

I suspect I might be able to construct such a reference type from one of the "unused" alternatives. But I'm lazy, and I'm wondering if there's a place on the Bookends web site where one might find, swap, share, etc., such things...

You can't share them, because the Types are stored in Preferences. But it shouldn't take more than a minute or two to create a new Type.
