odd problem: journal title imported with an S

Post by ebenhero »

This odd problem cropped up a few months ago (and took me a while to notice): everytime I import a reference using Bookends's "search pubmed" tool the imported journal title is followed by two spaces and an 'S'. e.g., "Biol Psychiatry S". It is driving me mad trying to figure out why. Has anyone else had this problem and know a solution?

Cheers

Hi,

It's a known bug. It was fixed soon after release, so please download Bookends 9.1 again.

Sorry, just re-read the post and it occured to me that 9.1 may have been updated without a change in version number. I'll download it again and see what happens..

Yes, that's it.

We're getting closer to the next update as well, which of course has this and a variety of other fixes.
