Bug in the Select Duplicates to Delete dialogue

Post by rickl »

Hi,

I've found what I think might be a small bug, but would like to check that other people have the same experience, and that there isn't some simple preference setting that would solve the problem.

In the Select Duplicates to Delete dialogue, which appears when you choose "Remove Duplicates" from the Refs menu and opt to review the references before letting Bookends delete anything, the fields all appear to be of a fixed width, i.e. it's not possible to resize them manually. Unfortunately, the Reference Number column is too narrow to show more than 3 digits, so it is sometimes difficult to decide which one to delete. This is a significant, though hardly major, problem for me, as I keep my Bookends references synched manually to DevonThink.

As a general point, resizable columns are now a fairly standard interface convention, and would be rather nice to have in this case.

Thanks,
Rick

Hi,

I've increased the default size of the ref # column, and made all columns resizable. This will be included in the next update.
