Would it be possible to view notes in list view? At the moment you can view attachments in the window below the refs list but not notes. I know these can be viewed in the right hand panel but this is not generally suited to long notes.

A workround would be to create long notes as an attachment, but I'd rather keep the whole lot together

Hi,

As you said, you can view notes in a whole lot of places (in the list as a column, in the Info pane, in the reference window). If you also want to view them in the bottom pane of the List View, just create a format called Notes, and enter

n

as the only item in the output field.

Note (!) that we provide a format called Ref with Abstract. You could easily modify this to Ref with Notes, which you might find handy.

Thanks Jon, that was one trick I missed! I duplicated Ref with Abstract and used it as the basis for a modified format which works exactly as I need.
