Easy Way to See that All References are Assigned to a Group?
Easy Way to See that All References are Assigned to a Group?
I assign each reference to at least one static group. Is there any easy way to sort the references or view them so that I can see if there are any references that are not assigned to at least one group? I looked here and in the manual for more information but didn't see anything. Thanks. Joel

Hm, good question. How about this:
1. Clear the hits list
2. Select all your groups, set the boolean operator to OR
3. Now all references in any group are shown. Mark All.
4. Switch to All in the groups panel. Any reference NOT in at least one group will not be in the hits list (i.e. will not be checked).

Jon, this sounds like it will do the trick but I don't understand all of step #2. I can select all of the groups but where do you want me to set the boolean to "or?" Thanks. Joel

In the action popup menu (gear icon). It's set to AND by default.

That did the trick! I found about 10 references in my 1200+ reference database that were not assigned to at least one group. Thanks for the quick, helpful tip, Jon.
