Hi,
I thought I already did a post on this, but can't seem to find it.... Anyway - I have a problem with BE not remembering my window position and size. Every time I restart the program my library opens up in a very little and compact window (480x800 maybe?). Any idea why this may be or how to fix it? My normal resolution is 1920x1200.
Thanks very much in advance,
Kristian
Saving window position?
Re: Saving window position?
Maybe the .plist file for Bookends is corrupt. Correctly coded OS X applications store information about window size and positioning in these files, which reside inside of your user account’s library folder:
you could try moving the file called “com.sonnysoftware.bookends.plist” out of the folder (quit Bookends first)
~/Library/Preferences
then restart Bookends and see if your problem is fixed.
The .plist file stores other settings too, so you will probably have to readjust some preferences and settings inside Bookends after you moved/deleted the .plist file…

Hmmmm, I posted a reply, but it didn't show up -I wonder whether there is a problem with the forum?
Tried your suggestion, but to no avail - window still shows up too small. Rather weird actually!

Hi,
Try Rebuilding *without* keeping user info. If that doesn't work, please contact me off-forum for tech support.
